AGM FEEDBACK
The AGM was well attended by interested members of the KBRRA and many made valuable contributions to the evening with insightful and clear questions and answers. A word of thanks to His Way Church for the use of their facilities on the night. The presence of members of the the Umlele Heights community was also welcomed as the committee strives to join the various Kidd’s Beach communities into a strong entity, able to tackle any challenge in the future.
The average age of the attendees was further North than preferred and it will be a challenge for 2023 to attract younger folks into the association to continue laying the foundations and doing the work to build a community that can sustain itself in a future where less and less assistance will come from local authorities.
It was a busy year for a depleted KBRRA Committee, however much was accomplished by the small team. The Committee report and Financial statement below shows a growing list of challenges as well as a good financial base with which to tackle these challenges. The Committee is grateful to all the members who have contributed financially in paying their fees as well as those who contributed their time and labour for the betterment of the Village. New members were nominated and elected and these will help to shore up the committee with fresh drive for the year ahead.
